Materials Chemistry for

SUSTAINABLE ENERGY

Research

My research interests include organic semiconductor synthesis, photovoltaic devices, and solar fuels production.

Teaching

I lean on my performing arts background to keep students engaged, while bringing my passion for current research to help students connect with the subject matter.

Publications

I have authored articles in peer reviewed journals in a wide variety of fields from physical chemistry, to materials synthesis.

ABOUT ME

I have had a passion for research in materials chemistry and renewable energy since the beginning of my graduate studies in 2012. Since then, I have performed research spanning synthetic organic and inorganic chemistry, organic electronics, photovoltaic fabrication, and solar fuels production.

Currently I work with Prof. Simon Trudel at the University of Calgary developing new hole transport materials for flexible, printed organic light emitting diodes.
